Thought for January 2015 (GailNicholls)
posted Thu January 1st 2015 @ 6:25 PM
Okay, we have finally finished 2014 which vibrated to a “7” - having to use our minds in all areas. How did you get on with the many challenges placed before us? Having to constantly be aware of our thoughts and being positive so as not to sink into a gloomy depression or despair!
What a year eh! A 7 is all about having to go within and understand that life is more than we see before us. That life is also a mystery to be decoded and understood, to open ones mind to mysticism and spirituality to create wisdom and success and truly understand our true self.
For me, it was a year to sit and meditate and decide “Who am I!” ”Why am I here?” and so on. To work through the experience I had in Mexico and decide actually am I mad or gifted with something that could make one mad! They say 80% of folk in mental wards are actually quite psychic and told they are suffering from Schizophrenia or a form of delusional experiences! How many actually are hearing voices in their heads and yet NOT suffering from Schizophrenia but hearing a higher wisdom within themselves and so are drugged up to the eyeballs to stop these voices in their heads. So last year saw us truly tested...and glad to say, I am still, extremely SANE. Read More »
Thought for the Month of November 2014 (GailNicholls)
posted Sun November 2nd 2014 @ 9:47 AM
Life is an interesting experience at times don’t you reckon? Two months ago spirit said “put your home on the market” and here it did not sell last Tuesday at auction! Only 3 homes out of the 6 sold! What are we to learn here? TO trust and do as they suggest maybe! Well, I am doing this and so carry on and never had such an amazingly tidy home! I am also off loading all excess furniture, cloths, kitchen stuff....oh my word! Why did I think I needed 3 fish slices etc!
Over the years we have accumulated so much “stuff” that I am absolutely sighing with relief we did not sell as now I understand. I need so much time to pack and I would not have done this off loading if I had not been told to sell. See, everything in life has a reason, so as from today, I was up at 7am doing my clinic work and then starting to really pack and off load so much gear we have and do not need. Already people are coming to me and saying they are moving on and have nothing! YES, I can now pack and give to a beautiful person who has nothing.....and that makes me feel really amazing giving “stuff” away! Some folk might call it spring cleaning......as not only do we throw out or give away, we also get out the cleaners and scrub, polish and get ready for summer.
Have you ever thought that we spring clean our homes and yet what about ourselves? Do we not realize we also need to de-clutter our minds and bodies. We collect past hurts from some painful experiences and hold onto them and re-enact them over and over until we get either tired of it and say enough or do something about it. Read More »
GreenplanetFM interviews James Russell: Editor of Element Magazine in the NZ Herald (Ultimo)
posted Thu October 16th 2014 @ 6:01 PM
Element magazine has a NZ readership of 140,000 people and could quite easily be New Zealand's flag bearer of conscious ecology, and business inclusive of food, health, community and leisure.
It is about our actions and vision as well as long term thinking and we have to engage in this .
Sustainability in an ecological context is doing the same thing in perpetuity, over and over and actually improving the environment in the process, which is what organic gardening does. (Note: where as fishing in the ocean is not the case as there is virtually no putting back and building up of fish stocks and thus replenishing the resource base.)
Listen to how James, being Editor of such a prestigious publication where one moment he may meet an energetic and inspirational person doing something that encouragers other people to follow suit, and the next message may be of an ecological report that is so devastating and disempowering. Yet, as a family man with two young boys, his resolve becomes even stronger to engage in publishing and sharing information and knowledge that can make this world a better place for us all to live.
He also finds that with this publication he doesn't compromise his values so can sleep at night. Yet, with so much content available James often has to leave a huge amount of data, information, and good stories, because of an oversupply of newsy content that flows into his office. For as you browse your way through Element, you can quickly recognise that there is so much opportunity for the Ecology of Commerce to be embedded into the new biospheric understanding of our connection within the web of life. Thought for the Month of October 2014 (GailNicholls)
posted Thu October 9th 2014 @ 9:32 AM
Well, we have finally taken the jump off the bridge and our home is now for sale. The first open home was last Sunday and not really advertised, yet around 40-odd folk decided to check our home out! What a response and so it is now, keeping the house tidy and start packing for the move.
20 odd years ago we moved in on Labour weekend and since then accumulated so much “stuff". It is amazing how at the beginning of marriage we have so little and yet survived and made do with what we had. Now, who needs dozens of glasses, 2 dinner sets, 4 lounge suits and so on but this house is 3 times the size! But, the wardrobes bulge with “stuff"....and I realize how we (well, some of us) accumulate over time treasures, nick-nacks once bought while on an overseas trip, gifts...... so much STUFF!
It appears time for myself to look at all this STUFF and start giving it away to some one else who will no doubt get use out of that unused toaster, the glasses, furniture, and so the car loaded with STUFF makes its way back down the drive to the Opp shops, and not a tear. Each load I take or give away I feel lighter, the house is looking happier for it as well! Read More »
GreenplanetFM interviews Marama Winder & Jon Winder on Sacred Activism & Action in Our World (Ultimo)
posted Tue September 30th 2014 @ 3:51 PM
In this the second programme of the Sacred Activism series with Marama Winder we explore the deeper dimensions of sacred action in our world. We are called at this time in an upwelling of positive change and transformation.
The coming together of the wisdom of the feminine and masculine is a crucial link in this shift and is elegantly portrayed in this interview. Alongside Marama’s potent voice of sacred activism and the deep feminine is Jon Winder who brings in the masculine perspective of our calling to sacred service.
This interview covers many aspects of what it is to involve oneself in sacred activism, from working with people, their rights, and justice for animals, the environment and our planet as a whole.
What are the principles of Sacred Activeness?
But first, what does the sacred mean? Read More »
GreenplanetFM interviews JJ & Desiree Hurtak on the Keys of Enoch, Our Blueprint & Our Upward Spiral (Ultimo)
posted Thu August 14th 2014 @ 3:39 PM
Famously known over 40 years ago for his mystical journey up beyond this 3rd dimensional plane into what is perceived as the ‘angelic hierarchy or realms’, James Hurtak continues to share insights and information to awaken us to our life’s purpose as well as connect to our higher self and more.
Covering vast themes as futurism, archaeology, theology, quantum realms, sound, remote viewing and the development of consciousness, this seems at odds to the nightly news of political intrigue, crime and the terrible mayhem and savagery that’s happening in so many countries on earth today.
Yet, both he and his wife Desiree acknowledge, like many of us, that there is also an upward spiral taking place in the field of consciousness and expanding ones awareness … and they see NZ as being a mystical island country, that initiated the template for woman to gain the right to vote, freeing up the divine feminine and anchoring this much needed - balancing archetype.
Also, that NZ being a country that instituted so many early social reforms that in many ways due to our isolation from the rest of our planet, allowed us to become an embryonic catalyst for new ideas, consciousness and spiritual insight. The emerging microcosm for the planetary macrocosm. Read More »
Thought For August 2014 (GailNicholls)
posted Tue August 5th 2014 @ 2:00 PM
August is upon us and to start the month off to find my phone is playing up along with my internet. I hear many folk are also having phone issues.... my Telecom man was running around like a headless chook on Friday, he put in a temporary line and I hear it is still playing up!
It takes me back to around 20+ years ago when I was phoned by a lady, I have no idea who she was, stating I needed to attend a presentation one night! I had a client and so declined. She was extremely adamant I attend, as we did not know each other, yet here she was telling me to attend as spirit asked her to phone me. It was on Astrology, by a gentleman, name now long forgotten, who came over to do this talk. So off I went, along with a few friends thank goodness. The talk was amazing and for me to remember it all, impossible. So over coffee afterwards the 5 of us discussed what this person had to share!
Do you remember the “Pythagoras Theorem”....from college days! I do. I was so excited. What!!! Excited over a math’s theorem? Now, Pythagoras also bought in Numerology....and now Nostrodamus. The talk coincided with Pythagoras etc.....
In the 1500’s, Nostrodamus stated in one of his “readings” that technology would be our downfall but also our saviour!”. Think about this for a minute!
Planes falling from the sky, a prediction by No Eyes, ( Mary Summer Rains guide! Amazing books) stating this! Look at the amount of planes crashing! Today, planes fly on computers, land by computer coordinates. Read More »
Sacred Activism and Action in our world today, with Diane Marama Winder & Michael Fleck (Ultimo)
posted Mon August 4th 2014 @ 10:11 AM
The saying that ‘we are spiritual beings having an earth experience’ is resonating with more and more people as this timely clarion call inspires us to action. And as we awaken to the realisation that our society is coming up against limits to our outmoded thinking, belief systems and thresholds - to what is unbridled growth, we are starting to reflect on the inevitable consequences of ‘business as usual.’
‘When the joy of compassionate service is married to a practical and pragmatic drive to transform all existing economic, social, and political institutions, a radical and potentially all-transforming holy force is born.’
This coming from the quintessential sacred activist, Andrew Harvey a global transition leader who invokes the sacred in every thought, deed and action in what is our collective … ever expanding cosmology.
If there was ever a time to fulfill our hearts calling for a better world, it has to be now. Read More »
A Thought for the Month of July 2014 (GailNicholls)
posted Mon July 14th 2014 @ 4:06 PM
Recently we have been experiencing the most amazing winter here in Auckland, even if the rain still comes periodically like it is today and forecasted for the whole week! Here I am sitting in the comfort of my warm study, with my pampered cat Chasca on her chair beside me wrapped up in her blanket, and I start to think.....
Have you ever sat back and thought over your whole life? How it started and where you are today! I do, many times and at the moment I look outside my window, heavy rain drops making a soothing sound outside as the raindrops create their own magical sound. Inside my room, I am warm and toasty, Chasca purring away, every so often a paw comes out from under her rug to touch me and remind me she loves me..... unconditionally. Her belly full with veal and a plate of biscuits by her water bowl if she should get a little bit peckish! How we are both pampered princesses. (Yes, Chasca means "Incan Goddess for pampered princesses")
I read in this morning's Herald ( 30/6/2014) that "Sin City" known as Las Vegas, is in danger of running dry as drought hits.... their elaborate water fountains are using so much water and yet Lake Mead, America's largest reservoir, is slowly being drained. The story comes under a big heading and picture, taking up nearly ½ a page. Nowhere in the paper does it mention countries that have no water, as well as no food and housing. Is this the level we as humans have reached? Read More »
