Dendara and Abydos Temples.
Back on the mighty coach with our bags to start day 10 of our spiritual journey. My favorite part of Egypt is around here and onto Asyut and El Menya.
First stop was at the Temple of Dendara. This main temple, namely Hathor Temple was historically, called the Temple of Tentyra, has been modified on the same site starting as far back as the Middle Kingdom, was dedicated to Hathor, and is one of the best preserved temples in all Egypt.
In 1999, on my first visit to Dendara, I lost my group as I meditated on the roof! A Temple guardian saw me and asked I follow him so thinking we were heading to my group I did. Read More »
EGYPT... part three (GailNicholls) posted Wed January 11th 2012 @ 9:42 PM
Apologies as time seems to have gone so fast that it seemed not so long ago we who went to Egypt said we are going to Egypt THIS YEAR!!!!! So time is speeding by and now we say ‘we went to Egypt last year!” And what a trip.
The Nile cruise ship is like any cruise, laid back and being able to unpack our suitcases for the next 3 nights as we sailed down the Nile heading north. We had visited the amazing temples Kom Omba and Edfu and now time to enter the Esna lock as we carry onto Luxor, birthing alongside the mighty Luxor Temple in the wee early hours of morning.
It was an early rise at 5.30am as it gets very hot Valley of the Kings, known as the West Bank. Our air conditioned coach had followed us down the Nile so we were spared the donkey ride into the valley.
Here all burials took place, and was known as the domain of Osiris, called Khentamenti. Apart from Akhenatens time. The elaborate tombs were carved deep into the rock and we all went into our own directions to explore 3 tombs of our choice. Now, no guides are allowed inside, so we visited 3 Tombs. The art work on the sides, telling the stories of the person who was entombed in the chamber, was amazing after all of these years. The first picture is of one of the tombs and taken from internet as no cameras allowing inside. Read More »

A Holistic Living Special Offer for you...
SPIRITUAL REGRESSION / LIFE BETWEEN LIVES
Have you read any of Michael Newtons books and wondered if you could have the same experience?
I was trained as a Hypnotherapist in 1993 and I loved the modality so much, I found it actually had better healing results than my naturopathic modality! And so I went and trained with the Michael Newton Institute and never looked back.
I am now full on with the sessions that folk are amazed at and wonder if it is for real! Being a skeptic and an analytical person myself I fully understand and yet proven it beyound doubt, one can experience the reality that it surely is! It is life changing, healing and most folk say "Whow!!!!!! Read More »
A New Year, a New Beginning. (GailNicholls) posted Tue January 3rd 2012 @ 7:46 AM
Happy New Year Everybody
So, the 11:11:11 date has been and gone and some are asking me what was supposed to happen!!!!! Nothing…… so, I am sorry folks. Yes, 25 folk travelled with me to be inside the Kings Chamber for that date, and some were expecting to Ascend!
Lucky for me I listened to Spirit and so made our departure from Cairo on the 13th at lunchtime, which sure saved “my bacon”. If we all listen to that inner voice would not life be simpler! I listened and so made it we leave Cairo on the 13th. And so as the plateau was closed to all public on the 11th (as spirit told me would happen, which sure stressed me out no end ) ... to find on the 11th, the authorities closed the whole plateau down! Why you ask?
My agent Ali told me that in 1931, the Jewish folk from Israel had booked the WHOLE of that area…. and were expecting to Ascend! They turned up and demanded the contract to be kept. An argument followed as the Egyptians did not want any Jewish folk near the Pyramids (????) and so they closed it to all of us. (a long story sorry) Read More »

Releasing emotional and mental blockages that are in the way to self healing can create conditions that allow “spontaneous remission”. What are the necessities for a healthy temple body?
Air, Water, Food-chain, Exercise, relationships and our spiritual aspirations. In cities put your car windows up, air conditioning on recycle because if you smell then it is affecting you - There are 3 major pollutants in petrol. Use negative ion generators in office buildings.
Water: Don't drink Auckland tap water … hazardous to your health clean your water up, with filtration or bottles water etc.Alkalize your body.
Food: organic is best, grow your own, eat more fresh food, green leafy veggies and alkalize your body
Do away with most oils, canola being one and that organic cold pressed is best. Extra virgin organic olive is good, especially for salads
Microwaves, just get rid of them - they De-nature food. Don't eat corporate food - being dead food with zero life force and enzymes etc. Read More »
Thought of the Month......December 2012 (GailNicholls) posted Mon December 12th 2011 @ 2:42 PM
Recently I and 25 other spiritually-minded folk visited Jerusalem in Israel… As one young man said on leaving “ Well Gail, my idea on the Bible has changed somewhat!”. Yes, a few of us wish to revisit that amazing city and retrace all the sights we visited in the 3 days we were there.
At first when I saw on the itinerary, a visit to the walling wall, it did not really interest me, but on the day we were there waiting to go under ground into the “Kotel Tunnels”, my mind quickly changed.
It was like going back in time, as we climbed down the steps to many layers unearthed underground, bringing to life a whole new city! All we could think of was “Wow!” as we passed archaeological sites dating to the Herodian and the Umayyad period, including Ayyubid, Mamlyuke and Hasmonean periods… so ancient our minds had difficulty grasping what our guide was telling us.
We then climbed up the stairs and back into this reality and time to then meander around the tiny wee cobblestone streets as we walked in the path that Jesus took all those years ago, to the place of his crucifixion and burial. The Christian story was brought to life for us…and now it is Christmas, where we celebrate his birth. It does not matter if the date is wrong, or what religion one follows, but what He preached was peace and good will among all men and women. Read More »
Egypt...........part two (GailNicholls) posted Fri December 9th 2011 @ 12:06 PM
Once we were unpacked and happily in our cabins which we would have for 3 beautiful relaxing days… ventured out again to visit more sites.
We had spent a day in Cairo and journeyed through the Museum to get a good oversight of Egypt’s history and to whet our appetite.
Seeing Tutankhamen’s famous mask, his beautiful intricate jewellery and then to walk into the “Mummies Room” to see Ramses and others lying there in state, was a wake up call for a few… coming to me to ask questions. But more on that when we arrive at the Sphinx…. And so we boarded our overnight sleeper train to Aswan. And so I carry on with my story. Read More »
If You’re a Dog, You Gotta Bark! (MartinGray) posted Thu December 8th 2011 @ 1:14 PM
I'm unlikely to ever utter the words "I'm having a baby". But something close to that is happening.
"I'm publishing a book!"
And it really isn't so hard these days either, I've discovered. PublishMe in New Plymouth are doing a limited first-edition run of 25 for me, which will be in my hands in just a few weeks.
Well, ok, it’s the product of 18 months’ writing, typing and editing etc, but more importantly almost 20 years of resource-experience-gathering.
The end result is to have this work as a reference itself for others who may find themselves in challenging circumstances in life, but not know what’s happening, or where to go for validation and information. Read More »
