Manfred made his home in Golden Bay, with his wife Ana and daughter Maniana in 1998.

They grow beautiful organic produce, raise chickens and ducks, manage a very successful home based business and welcome visitors regularly on their idyllic biodynamic farmlet. After becoming an accomplished classical musician, flautist, conductor and youngest director of a music school in Austria, where he was born and raised, Manfred changed his focus to Optimum Wellbeing through a holistic lifestyle, self-sufficiency, permaculture and biodynamic farming, as well as studying lots of self help/healing modalities, while on holiday (sabbatical leave) in New Zealand where he stayed and has been living since 1982.
