I have been thinking today (uh oh!) about the fact that the air we breathe is the same air that has been circulating here since the beginning of time (clean for us, thank you trees). The same air the dinosaurs breathed, and all our ancestors.How we are separated by just a thin blue line of atmosphere from suffocation.How delicate we are, and how amazingly robust.I met an Iranian who spoke about a completely different reality on his part, to the situation we have been told exists there, and taught me a lot about the history of the place.I concluded that ever since we have been on this planet we have fought over petrol, land, food, water, jewels, gold, spices, opium, religion, politics you name it…it’s been going on as long as the air.So what is it, I ask myself that compels humanity, with such a strong history of ingrained conflict in our cultures, to seek peace, love, security and harmony in our lives?Why do we strive for happiness?I’m not sure, but I do know that it is this very deeply ingrained characteristic of human nature which drives me on, even in the darkest moments, to do what I do and to seek the truth of who we are.It is this quality in me which springs out into the world to share what I know helps to bring it bubbling to the surface, shimmering like a sliver of paua at the bottom of a rock pool.To quote a quotable fellow:“The journey of a thousand miles must begin with a single step”The first person who can tell me who this quote is from, will receive the gift of an energy reading via email.So, begin the first step:
