My Journey Home
Blog Entry

Cambodia

Monday, November 14th 2011 @ 3:58 AM (not yet rated)

I have been in Cambodia for a week now (heading home tomorrow) and have such a great time. The people are wonderful, the weather (although incredibly hot is wonderful, and the opportunities for personal and spiritual growth are wonderful.

While here I have extended myself by teaching at the postgraduate certificate in Advanced nursing, teaching the correct use of a toothbrush in one slum and triaging at a clinic in another slum.

I have been here with Impact Charitable Trust and look forward to continuing next year the work started this year.

Over the next 12 months, before my next trip, I will be looking at developing health resources that we can share. If anyone is interested in this journey we are starting please contact Impact Charitable Trust direct (see them on facebook) or email me.

I am quite happy to come and talk to any group about the plans we are developing.
