Practical Tools for Navigating 2012

Tuesday, October 5th 2010 @ 5:41 PM    post viewed 811 times

So much has been written and said about 2012. Some things seem immanently possible, even highly probable, and others seem almost unthinkable. The real truth is that nobody knows what will happen if anything at all.

As always we stand on what I sci-fi writer Kate Wilhelm liked to call "the Uncertain Edge of Reality". For most people the thing which denotes this "edge" is its uncomfortableness. It seems that human nature has us liking to sit inside our comfort zone.

The comfort zone is a misnomer, its not so much comfort as it is hassle free based on the Devil you know is better than something outside of that.

Some people think that there is a boundary to the comfort zone which you have to break through but the comfort zone is really surrounded by an unknown which extends out indefinitely.

This unknown region is the Uncertain Edge and it is where everything happens. Innovation, Insight, Enlightenment all happen in the unknown. If that weren' t the case then it would be a repetition of something previous, and repetitions don't lead anywhere different, they only serve to indoctrinate with a old philosophy.

The biggest trick of all is learning how to stand in Uncertainty with the degree of excitement and openness it deserves; moreover, where would you find such tools? I don't claim to have all the answers, but paradoxically I have spent most of my life in this region. I don't have all the answers because the answers aren't ready yet, nobody has asked the question.

On 16th October 2010, I and three others are presenting a seminar called  2012 - The Way Through at the Auckland Town Hall that provides some answers and guidance around what to expect at the end of 2012. These are practical tools for navigating change, and change is inevitable, the only certainty there is.

This day-long seminar is priced at only $79 and is outstanding value with promotional give-aways of over $5000 worth of product, consultations, readings and in-depth leading edge seminars. This is not "just another event" because we know about repetition and the Uncertain Edge.

If you want to find out what is really happening to your world, how it impacts on you, and how to manage and thrive through the greatest change in recorded history, then you need to be there. The Industrial Revolution in 1740 changed the world in ways that were unpredictable at the time and many people fell in its wake. 2012 will be faster and even more unbelievable.

During the day there will be adequate time to interact with the presenters and ask the questions you want answered.
