Big Fat Loser

Monday, October 5th 2009 @ 8:56 AM (3 ratings)    post viewed 871 times

This is a statement of intent. I am sharing this publicly so as to lock in my resolve and determination and to be completely positive about what I am doing.

I'm on a diet. Today I feel bloated and headachey, as I have spent the last two days gorging myself on as much fatty food as I can take. I put on 1.1kg over the weekend.

Strange as it seems, that's how to start the hCG Weight Loss Cure.

Today, Day 3, it all changes. I get into the VLCD part of the protocol. That's Very Low Calorie Diet. I'm eating exactly 500 calories per day for the next thirty days or so - made up of a small serving of protein, vegetables and a piece of fruit, twice daily.

I've taken the "before" pictures (no, that's not the picture above) and cut up and frozen lots of (free range) chicken breast and (organic) steak.

This is based on Dr Simeons' Weight Loss Protocol, which was detailed in Kevin Trudeau's book "The Weight Loss Cure "They" Don't Want You To Know About".

It entails taking hCG (human chorionic gonadotrophin) daily, by injection or sublingually (under the tongue) and adhering to a very strict 500 calorie diet. I don't like needles, so I am taking it sublingually.

Kevin Trudeau expanded on Dr Simeons' original protocol and added an initial cleansing and detoxing phase beforehand, which makes sense to me, as we are all suffering from various degrees of toxic overload. So I have spent the last few weeks taking Threelac to deal with any candida overgrowth I may have and have also had a series of colonics.

So what can I expect?

I expect to drop up to 1 pound (0.45kg) of weight per day until I reach my goal weight. The "promise" is that I will lose 30 pounds in 30 days. I expect that I won't be hungry during that time (apart from the first couple of days) and that the only downside will be having to replace my entire wardrobe of clothes, which shouldn't be too difficult (two pairs of jeans and several t-shirts).

My body will be reshaped, my health issues will disappear and I expect a new lease on life.

Watch this space.

PS. I'm a private sort of a person and making that first appointment to have a colonic wasn't easy. However I discovered a very caring and considerate lady called Lisa at Coastal Colon Therapy in Whangaparaoa who helped me calm my nerves and now I am very relaxed about it all. Check out the website here - I highly recommend Coastal Colon Therapy.
