What is the Soul?

Saturday, November 6th 2010 @ 3:21 PM (not yet rated)    post viewed 1431 times

The innocence of a child, so perfect and trusting. Yes, a new soul has just entered this world we call Earth. It is the only planet with freedom of choice, and so we choose our path and lessons before we incarnate to this place we call home.

Let us call the body a car, a vehicle. Like buying a new car at the local car dealers, we choose the make and model, mileage and so on. So we also as a soul.

We choose the parents who well help us as a soul to expand and grow, to learn and experience as we move on towards our ascension. Do we wish for wealthy parents so that we may get a better and higher education? Or poor so that we learn to go without and yet we can still make it without the education and fancy schooling.

The Mini gets to the end of the race last maybe, but it is reliable and slow enough to be able to take in the scenery as we move along this road could life! Whereas the Porch is fast and gets to the end of the race long before anybody else, I agree and therefore is supposed to "win" but in actual fact...it has gone so fast it never saw the beauty in the journey. But we all end the race at the correct time.

So you have chosen your vehical and state it is in....Do your parents have a disease or healthy....or a rust bucket or shinning and black! All chosen to suit the race called life.

Now, what experiences do we wish to have in this life? Along comes a soul that says I wish to learn to be compassionate and so another soul will say, I want to learn what it is like to be forever in a wheel chair....so these 2 souls start to make the jigsaw puzzle picture.

One soul says I need to learn how to experience pain at anothers hand and so a soul chooses to be that parent says then I will inflict pain on you so you may experience pain, as in a past life I could not understand how low a tired parent can be and lose their patience in a child as I was, and lash out and hurt me. I never forgave them. So the jigsaw grows as many souls work out the whole story.

Next. the soul is then anchored into the mother around 3 months into her pregnancy, and guess what? We lose all memory of why the hell we came in the first place!!!!! As it is put, "we fall from grace". And so throughout life, the vehicle (the body) is driven by the aspect of the "Human" who is in control, and making the choices on direction to take.

This is made up of the programming the child gets and experiences. They are the driver. Now the soul, the spiritual part of the duality, is like the angel on the shoulder telling us to take the other road as it is safer, etc.....The human aspect can either choice to follow that "gut" feeling or carry on their merry way. One way or another, lessons are experienced and learnt. No matter what one does, it is all going to end at the correct time as programmed into your contract that is written in your own handwriting on the other side.

At the end of your life, one goes back "home" and is presented towards ones Council and it is YOU, the soul, that judges and condemns you, not the Masters. They are there only to help you in times of need. To help you plan your next lifes experiences....yes a never ending cycle....ever ending lessons as we head towards reaching a higher level of our evolution and therefore able to move up to the next level.....oh dear!

Hence the reason I like doing these "Lifes between Lives" as YOU can see this all for yourself. It is life changing and rather interesting....that brother or sister that annoys you, maybe was in a past life and now the balance is present.

Yes, our Soul sure is an amazing energy that has an identity (peace, loving, joying, mischievous etc.) and this carries throughout your lifetimes as a human. So be it. Blessings

Thought of the Month ~ November 2010

Thursday, November 4th 2010 @ 3:52 PM (not yet rated)    post viewed 487 times

Hi Everybody. Another month has passed and life goes on. Summer is just around the corner and a time to relax and laugh more and stop creating stress for ourselves.

Christmas is not far away and already the shops are telling us we must start doing our shopping, and trying to entice us to 'shop till we drop"....Christmas is a time for giving and also receiving, but todays society sees this as a financial burden, endless hours in front of the stove cooking mountains of food we do not need and our waist bands scream out "NO MORE"!!!

To me, Christmas is a time to invite friends over for a meal, sit outside beside the barbie and watch the male species all telling each other how best to cook the steak. A time to remember passed-over relations and friends and think of those who have nothing except an empty plate and a stocking filled only with hot air!

Yes, we all do have turns I believe at being wealthy and poor, all part of the Souls learning and understanding. To learn how to be humble and share can only be done if one has the means to share. One cannot learn to accept if they already have plenty. Yes, Christmas means more than a birth of a child...... it means a time to reflect on a year and see what we can do better next year. A time to reflect and give thanks to the higher realms as they grant us blessings in so many ways.

I read a story once of a wealthy man who takes his son to the country to visit some poor relatives. On the return drive back to the city, the father asked the son what did he learn? His reply was "I have learnt how poor we are...they wake up to the sounds of the birds where we woke up to sirens screaming, trains passing etc. We ate frozen vegatables where they ate fresh". So on and so on...no doubt you all know the story.

So, what are we going to do this Christmas...? Who knows, as this is an individual idea, and I hope it is not only receiving the many blessings that we receive daily, but be able to go and bring a smile to a lonely persons face as we deliver a meal to their door. A parcel to some family who have nothing.....anything....as anything is better than nothing.

This Christmas, I am asking folk for no gifts please, give to the City Mission or whatever....as I am in abundance. Last months fund raiser ....we made $1000.00 which all went to Christchurch. The thank you letter was priceless.....and all done with little effort and on a short time frame. See, we can all do something, no matter how small or large a dontation, it all adds up. Let this Christmas be a time for giving...even if it is only your LOVE.

Have a fabulous weekend.

Namaste
Gail, Blessings
