Thought of the Month......December 2012
Monday, December 12th 2011 @ 2:42 PM (not yet rated)
Recently I and 25 other spiritually-minded folk visited Jerusalem in Israel… As one young man said on leaving “ Well Gail, my idea on the Bible has changed somewhat!”. Yes, a few of us wish to revisit that amazing city and retrace all the sights we visited in the 3 days we were there.
At first when I saw on the itinerary, a visit to the walling wall, it did not really interest me, but on the day we were there waiting to go under ground into the “Kotel Tunnels”, my mind quickly changed.
It was like going back in time, as we climbed down the steps to many layers unearthed underground, bringing to life a whole new city! All we could think of was “Wow!” as we passed archaeological sites dating to the Herodian and the Umayyad period, including Ayyubid, Mamlyuke and Hasmonean periods… so ancient our minds had difficulty grasping what our guide was telling us.
We then climbed up the stairs and back into this reality and time to then meander around the tiny wee cobblestone streets as we walked in the path that Jesus took all those years ago, to the place of his crucifixion and burial. The Christian story was brought to life for us…and now it is Christmas, where we celebrate his birth. It does not matter if the date is wrong, or what religion one follows, but what He preached was peace and good will among all men and women.
We go back to the Pyramid in Cairo, where I believe he was also initiated, and lived for a time, and now see riots……as they fight for freedom, democracy and hopefully, peace soon. Their Muslim religion is also interesting as they also believe in Moses, their prophet also spreading words for peace among men, so does it really matter what religion one follows, it is a reminder to spread peace and harmony amongst us all.
We Christians believe in the birth of Christ and so celebrate it with the usual feast, exchanging of gifts and days to hopefully think about the way this planet of ours is going. Many changes are going on in this world right now, many amazing miracles and yet riots and war on humanity still prevails. Maybe a trip to a visit to the holocaust History Museum, 'Yad Vashem’ would remind us of the horrors of yesteryear and so therefore be more inclined to work harder to bring the joy of Christmas to everyone no matter what colour, religion or country they live in, as we are all family, as we are all ONE.
May this find you all happy, healthy and able to enjoy the tidings this festive season brings in. Keep safe and laugh every day as this world is a beautiful creation where we must all live in harmony and this time is the time to remember who we are.
Have a very merry Christmas and Happy New Year… see you in 2012.
God Bless you and keep you safe, happy and healthy.

Egypt...........part two
Friday, December 9th 2011 @ 12:06 PM (not yet rated)
Once we were unpacked and happily in our cabins which we would have for 3 beautiful relaxing days… ventured out again to visit more sites.
We had spent a day in Cairo and journeyed through the Museum to get a good oversight of Egypt’s history and to whet our appetite.
Seeing Tutankhamen’s famous mask, his beautiful intricate jewellery and then to walk into the “Mummies Room” to see Ramses and others lying there in state, was a wake up call for a few… coming to me to ask questions. But more on that when we arrive at the Sphinx…. And so we boarded our overnight sleeper train to Aswan. And so I carry on with my story.
The picture above is one I took of Kaphara, who asked I take his picture! Yes, he is but a wooden statue in a glass case in the Museum but I sure heard him ask so I did, This is what I got. His throat chakra is ablaze, and so my search on learning more on him started. PLEASE respect my personal photo and do not copy it as I share it with you…..to help you understand something’s in life we cannot explain. No flash in my camera or lights in the museum, all prohibited of course. ( having trouble down loading it !!!!! )
A Nile cruise back down the Nile back to the Mediterranean Sea, visiting all the sacred temples along the way as we follow the steps of the past initiates…..but it would be sacrilege to not visit beautiful Philae…..the “Temple of Isis”. I feel she is just another aspect of Mother Mary and so we meditated on the woman. The feminine, the love, and did we feel it! We had the temple all to ourselves as our guide Rehad commented on where were all the tourists!!!!! The peace of this amazing re constructed temple in the middle of the Nile, saw a few anchor in the energies and we all the felt the most amazing love pour through us…..yes, an amazing story, Isis sure blessed us.
Isis was the sister and wife of Osiris and mother to Horus (Jesus). She is also called Soped or Sirius, by the Egyptians ( and here later on the bells will ring…so read on). She performed the first mummification and up herald the right to rule Egypt, a real love story and a story of triumph over death. Queen Cleopatra later on in history also identified herself with Isis, so here I say we are all an aspect of another, and reincarnation, so why not Isis! So we anchored in this powerful energy into our physical bodies and left feeling quite spaced out as we wallowed in pure unconditional love.
We also did a felucca ride to Elephantine island and so on, as we are but also human, there to have a physical experience…..back on board our floating 5* plus Nile cruise ship and enjoy being human as we feasted on delightful and yummy food like we hadn’t eaten in weeks! Spiritual work sure makes one hungry at times eh!
We sailed onto Kom Ombo which is 30 kms north of Aswan. It was built in two parts, one consisting of the temple to Sobek and the other to Haroeris. The initiations here were to do about fear, Sobek shown as a crocodile. An initiate was tested on his fear by having to jump into a pool that had another exit. He or she would have to swim down and find their way into the second pool and swim up and out. Ones breath being held and the fear of a crocodile also in the pool made the test to see what the initiate did and how they reacted! Today our fears are tested in a different way but still we have to learn to over come any fears we carry within us! Of course, little did the initiate know that the priests feed the crocodiles before the initiated joined them!!!!! This was NEVER ever shared with others….and so the test was either you found the exit or drowned in fear! Not nice I can assure you.
It also was a Temple of healing……and many hieroglyphics on the side of the wall where priests were seen masturbating men….raising up their Kundalinis! Interesting that Sai Baba also did this and yet was said to be not a nice person!!!!! He said they did not understand and I said to folk who questioned me on how I could sit in his Ashram for 3 weeks being such an evil man!!!!! They know not……nor did they understand. A beautiful temple to visit….
And so we sailed on up the Nile heading to Luxor. Ah, EDFU!!!!!! What a place this was……we meditated in the Holy of Holies…..asking the guide to turn the other way! Some “baksheesh” changed hands and so we stood in the energy of Horus……and meditated. He is shown as a falcon, with the sharp vision of the Hawk! The first Horus was the son of Nut and Geb, but also the son of Isis and Osiris. He became king and there on, when ever a King or Pharaoh passed over, it was said that it was shown the soul flown to heaven by the falcon and reunited with the Sun Disk………..Ra, another story. Horus was a fighter, a warrior and so fought the good fight and with Isis helped resurrect Osiris!!!!!! Mary Joseph and Jesus!!!!!! A parallel story it is, except Osiris was known as the God of the dead!!!!!! It was known when one died they would pass over and reunite with Osiris……….could this also translate to God! Who is God anyway!!!!!. Ah,Egypt history opens many a Pandora’s box…..
So, follow me as we sail down the Nile back to the Mediterranean Sea… as we reconnect to the most amazing Mystery Schools of Egypt.
Back again next Friday.
In the meantime……research and learn as in the research of knowledge ones memories are activated and so we move closer to understanding who we truly are………ONE.
Till next week
Namaste
Gail
