Kia Ora! I am starting up an eco- lifestyle in growing organic crops. After just finishing one year of study in organics, I would like to ask for support and any assistance is much appreciated! I am looking forward to any suggestions.
For your information:
I am moving out in the country (near Taupiri) on a 2 acres block. The chooks, pigs, goat, sheep are already there (I have inherited them) Basically, I need to start developing a whole new life-style, coming from the city!
This is so exciting! Please share any suggestions, thanks! Namaste! Fenna. |

Hi Fenna,
Just some suggestions. By planting some Comfrey you will keep those animals that you are inherting nice and healthy. Most people view comfrey as a weed but it is a most important food for stock. The chooks will love to graze on it and it produces the most wonderful eggs. You can also plant it around the base of any fruit trees and it acts as a natural mulch and fertilizer. Will pass on more info as I think of it.
