Just spent some lovely nurturing retreat time at a cosy little cottage at Freshwater Farm, just out of Waimauku, off the Muriwai Rd.

Peaceful, and totally private self contained, done in a tasteful 'mock-rustic' style, I think this is the kind of place you might want to go to get time out from a stressful situation or maybe take your loved-one for a get-away....even for a short honeymoon break ?

Heather, the owner is VERY welcoming and accommodating in making you feel at home, yet totally leaves you alone too !!

Meals can also be arranged or else do it all yourself in a well-equipped kitchen.
