Description:We live in a time of widespread and escalating social problems, many of which have their roots in our food supply. Our health has been adversely affected and behaviors have been drastically altered through the chemicals in our food, yet the vast majority of people are still unaware of this. Catherine Bertini, the head of the UN food programs in 1995, paraphrased the notorious statement by Henry Kissinger, �Food is power. We use it to change behavior.� This is also a time in which we have the potential to self-govern our lives and create our fondest dreams. The paradigm-busting movie �Real n� Raw� is our response to both this assault on our health and sovereignty, and the opportunity it presents: - a new kind of independent film, it targets youth, who need to be told the facts and given options in order to make conscious choices. - a wake-up call that we are each responsible for our own health. - a solution to a worldwide problem that has created dependency on a system. Filmed in the USA and New Zealand, Real n� Raw showcases solutions, other ways of being and doing. The documentary offers a message of hope, particularly for those suffering from all kinds of diet-related health problems. The intent of the film is to enable people to live long, happy and peaceful lives.
